A new way to keep runners connected to fans
Something new has been made to increase the advancement of informational technology. Chips have been made so runners can attach it to themselves for their loved ones and others to have the most recent time they are in the marathons even when they are cities away. The chips are attached to shoes and when they run across rubber mats, a signal emits to an antenna which is then transferred to a central database. Although this new technology is not perfect, its a great way to keep up with everything in a marathon because you cannot follow the races at all times.
